# GridMail IMAP and SMTP Server Settings

Use these settings for manual setup in supported mail applications. **IMAP is recommended over POP** because messages remain synchronized across devices.

| Server | `imap.emailarray.com` | `smtp.emailarray.com` |
| Port | **993** | **465** |

| Username | Full email address | Full email address |
| Password | Your mailbox password | Your mailbox password |
| Authentication | Required | Required |

If your network blocks outgoing port 465, try **587 with STARTTLS**. Keep outgoing authentication enabled.

Do not share your mailbox password in support requests.
