# Import and Export a Calendar

## Export a calendar

1. Open the **Calendar** tab.
2. Select the **cogwheel** to display your calendars.
3. Double-click the calendar to export.
4. In its **Properties** page, select **Export** to download an `.ics` file.

## Import events

1. Open **Calendar** → cogwheel → double-click the destination calendar.
2. Open the **Import** tab.
3. Select **Import** and choose a file. `.ics` is recommended; `.csv` is also supported.

The imported events appear once the upload finishes.
