# Receive a GridChat Conversation Transcript

GridChat can offer visitors the option to receive a copy of their conversation.

## Transcript opt-in

The transcript is optional. A visitor chooses whether they want the conversation sent to them.

## Email delivery

When the visitor opts in and provides the required information, the transcript is sent using the website email system.

## Privacy and choice

The transcript flow is designed as an opt-in action rather than an automatic email. Visitors can finish the conversation without requesting a transcript.
