Use these checks when a GridWrite AI action does not behave as expected.
The AI action is not available #
Confirm that you are working in a supported GridWrite control. AI actions appear beside eligible fields such as supported headings, text, images, video, icons, buttons, and repeater content.
A generation does not start #
Check your GridWeb plan and AI usage dashboard to confirm that the site is connected and that the relevant Text, Image, or Video allowance is available.
Generated content is not what you expected #
Revise the prompt with more specific direction. Include the subject, audience, purpose, tone, format, or visual details that matter.
Video is taking longer than expected #
AI video generation can take several minutes. Keep the editor open while the request is submitted, then allow the generation to complete before trying again.
A generated image or video is not where you expected #
Check the relevant GridWrite field and the Media Library. Media generated through Media Library workflows is stored there for reuse.
A page change does not look right #
Use GridWrite History to review recent editing actions. Also check the desktop, tablet, and mobile viewport controls before publishing or updating the page.
Still need help? #
